The Arizona chapter of Americans for Prosperity is teaming up with the Flagstaff Tea Party and other local activists to do a Honking for Health Care Freedom event SATURDAY, February 6 in downtown Flagstaff, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, outside City Hall (map link below).

Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick made a huge mistake back in November, when she voted in favor of Nancy Pelosi’s national health care takeover bill. That bill passed in the House by only three votes. That means that Kirkpatrick cast one of the three crucial votes.

The good news is that the Pelosi version of the bill is probably dead. But despite the Scott Brown victory in Massachusetts, Obama and the leftists in Congress may still try to ram the corrupt Senate version of the bill through the House. And they are putting heavy pressure on Kirkpatrick.

Bear in mind that we’re not just concerned about the corruption. The liberal approach to health care reform is entirely backwards. We need real competition in health care, not a Washington-created cartel of big insurance companies. We need to educate Kirkpatrick about the disaster she will impose on American health care consumers if she votes to put our health care in the hands of bureaucrats in Washington, DC.

Please join us at our Honking for Health Care Freedom event in Flagstaff on Saturday, February 6. Tea Party activists will have big signs asking motorists to HONK to STOP Washington DC’s corrupt takeover of our health care.

The event will take place outside of City Hall in downtown Flagstaff, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, at the intersection of Humphreys and Route 66/Hwy 89 (near point #1 on the map below).
