Americans for Prosperity has directed a study of the state's pension system vis-a-vis bill SCR-1, a proposed amendment to the state constitution. SCR-1 proposes fully funding the state's pension obligations after 7 years, increasing the state's payments by 1/7th each year.

Americans for Prosperity believes this bill, if enacted, would put the state is financial peril.
