The North Carolina chapter of Americans for Prosperity is bringing its November Is Coming Tour to Asheville on July 30-31th to urge North Carolinians to hold their elected officials accountable.
AFP has partnered with the Civitas Institute to provide two days of training to help educate and inform North Carolina voters as we prepare for an important election. Topics include get- out-the-vote and voter contact training, spotting voter fraud, Civitas polling, investigative journalism/citizen watchdog training and much more.

“Our elected officials have to know they’re going to be held accountable for their votes,” said Dallas Woodhouse, state director of Americans for Prosperity-North Carolina “Their decisions are already killing jobs and raising taxes, and the North Carolina economy simply can’t afford it.”

Concerned North Carolina citizens will be asked to sign a petition to Congressman Heath Shuler and several members of the North Carolina General Assembly urging them to change course, speak out and vote against big government legislation or be voted against in November.
“Heath Shuler has supported big government schemes that will result in massive new gas taxes and skyrocketing utility bills from a cap-and-trade scheme,” said Woodhouse. “Folks from Western North Carolina need to send a clear message to Health Shuler and members of the General Assembly that struggling taxpayers can’t afford any more bad decisions from Washington or Raleigh.”
