Changing the Nation, One State at a Time
At noon today, I joined a number of AFP grassroots activists, friends from the Tea Party movement, friends from Bureaucrash.com and the 9/12 Movement for a rally at Senator Jim Webb's Arlington, Virginia office as we urged him to vote NO on the government health care takeover.
We also presented Senator Webb's staff with 2,700 petitions signed by AFP supporters from across Virginia saying "Hands off our health care".

It was a great day meeting so many folks who were taking time from work, their families, and a busy Friday to stand up for freedom.
The great irony for us is this: the one thing we want from government is to be left alone. But, to be left alone, to earn a living, raise our families, volunteer in our communities -- we've got to get involved. That's exactly what our intrepid band of volunteers did today.

A special thanks to our good friends in the Tea Party movement who came up with the idea of asking Americans to rally at Senate offices around the nation today. And, kudos to all the grassroots groups and literally ten-of-thousands of Americans who joined in to send a message to the politicians.
We're going to win this battle to protect our freedom by keeping the government hands off our health care if we keep up the fight.
