Florida No Climate Tax Pledge Signers Advance to General Election
- Free market group recognizes numerous candidates for tax stance -

PALM BEACH GARDENS —The Florida chapter of the grassroots free market group Americans for Prosperity (AFP-FL) today applauded numerous No Climate Tax pledge signers for their primary victories and for advancing to the November general election.

More than 600 bipartisan lawmakers and candidates on the federal, state and local levels have pledged to “oppose legislation relating to climate change that includes a net increase in government revenue.”

“The one thing elected officials should all agree on is that global warming shouldn’t be used as an excuse to hike taxes,” said AFP-FL State Director Apryl Marie Fogel. “We encourage all Florida elected officials and candidates for office to sign the pledge.”
