GOP candidates: President was 'AWOL' on oil spill, Unionleader.com
HOOKSETT – Three Republican Senate candidates all faulted President Barack Obama's handling of the BP oil spill and want answers before new drilling can occur in the Gulf of Mexico.
"The President was AWOL in this," Manchester attorney Ovide Lamontagne said at a forum at Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday.

In another election year, an ill-timed rating of his financial performance could hurt Gov. John Lynch.
The Cato Institute gave New Hampshire a "D" on fiscal policy, placing the state 33rd out of 46 in the survey, trailing neighboring Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island and Vermont.
