It’s not easy making budget decisions in the GA Legislature this year. The days of abundant revenues are gone, at least temporarily. Republicans who were elected on promises of making government smaller and more efficient are actually being held accountable for doing just that. Both parties’ members are prevented from imparting the state’s largesse on his/her district. The bureaucrats running state agencies aren’t happy either.

Georgia's 12th District Congressional Representative John Barrow is going soft on the House bill for a government takeover of health care and considering supporting the bill! The critical House vote is scheduled for March 18th (or earlier if Speaker Pelosi can get the votes for a ram rod session)!

The House vote on health care is scheduled for next Thursday (if not earlier if Speaker Pelosi can get the votes and call for an emergency ram session in the House)! AFP Georgia is taking part in a massive nationwide AFP "drive" against the government takeover of health care and we're calling on ALL AFP Georgia activists to "giv'em horn" by driving around the local office of your Congressional representative sometime this week OR on next Tuesday, March 16th from NOON to 1PM!
