May 3, 2012, Bozeman, Mont.—Wolves took center stage at the Gallatin County Commission hearings tonight. Proponents argued ethical concerns to maintain the wolf population. Others claimed wolves bring in millions of dollars of eco-tourist funds. And a few denied any real impact on the big game population despite a report from a local Fish and Game expert who said she counted only 4 moose in a recent fly-over in Gallatin County. One person testified that having county involvement in the wolf issues was simply adding more bureaucracy to the problem.

As you may know, Sen. Max Baucus, in his first fundraising email after announcing his re-election campaign for 2014, attacked the Tea Party. Claiming Tea Partiers had an "extreme agenda", Baucus wrote "We all know the Tea Party's agenda runs much deeper than trying to limit women's freedom -- they've been trying to defund family planning clinics since 2010..."

Americans for Prosperity-Montana had a great last few days at Tax Day Tea Party rallies around the state and participating in the Lewistown Tea Party’s Gubernatorial Forum. In Bozeman, over 150 AFP supporters and Tea Partiers turned out on Saturday, April 14 to hear activists young and old speak out for liberty, limited government and lower taxes.
